Now this isn't exactly the same thing as herbivorial resistance, but it's along very similar lines...
Artificial Defoliation...seems convicing, but then there's that part about pulling apart your plants so I dunno about that
but it's the same idea, deinetely supports the herbivorial resistance idea.
