Glad you found this useful. As far as the zipper/velcro combo, that'd be a great choice to go with. 1 or 2 zippers down the middle, sealed sides and tops, and then a velcro'd bottom would do the trick! I just might get a little velcro going on the bottom as well.
Viagrow: It's funny you mention air tightness because soon after I posted this ended up sealing off the sides, top and bottom with duct tape to improve the ventilation until I finish lining the room with PP, and it definitely worked. If you do this right, it can be completely air tight. The PP is great for that. As I said though, it would probably be much less of a hassle to seal the sides and tops completely but have the bottom sealed with velcro so you can more easily get in and out.
