Leaf mulch is a great soil to grow in,if the water is 2ft down,i wouldn't worry to much about it.I have grown in these conditions and had some fantastic crops.the worms say it all when it comes to healthy soil and you need not worry about watering them as the water is allready there.If your realy worried about the water then you can mound the soil up and still not wory about them,sounds like you found the perfect spot.. . . nice find..B  NG

If you come round to see me and find weeds in my house,the reason is down to a freedom of choice,
my friends at the time were like kicking in doors,smashing shop windows and spraying on walls,they would beat people up for no reason at all and leave them for dead covered in bload on the floor
now this didn't apeal to me one little bit,so I chose to grow ganja and get off with a hit
so policeman remember the doors,people and shops
and my desision to shun it and raise up my crops
