If it's organic it has the debris of living things in it. Furthermore, it has actual living things (microbes) in it that eat the debris and break it down into the simple structures plants can eat. That end product is chemically identical to the chemical salts used in non-organic fertilizers.

And all that extra stufff, the organic matter and microbes and so forth, are a hell of a lot bigger than the dissolved salts of a normal fertilizer. That translates into a lot more capacity for clogging sprayers and whatnot.

Besides, if you really buy into all the organic hype (buy being the operative word here) you can get organic products from AN and still get the money back guarantee. I know a guy that uses Iguana Juice and swears by it.
