well here is a couple of answers to a souple of questions that were posted.
1) i HAVE had a bottle of AN's "jumpstart" go bad on me and it set me back big time in regards to my sog method that the flower room gets filled as soon as it is empty. anyway i contacted the company who sold me the AN stuff. and like that they emailed me a shipping label and i sent the bad jumpstart to him and he sent me a new bottle of jumpstart. i didnt ask for my money back though, but after i sent him my bottle he called me when he got it and told me he was sending my new bottle out immediatley. and if i could fill out this form for his wholesaler to credit him for the bottle. it was a 7 page, open-ended questionaire. never the less i got my satisfaction and they sent me a 40 grm bag of pirahana and tarantula for the "set back" along with my fresh bottle of jumpstart.
2) i use the 2 part sensi grow and bloom base nutes, and all the additives on the nute calculator. i use the veg formula @ 80% of whats on the calc. and for bloom i use the light feeding or moderatley light feeding, depending on temp and co2 levals and the plants being grown. i use it all; MEST, humic & fulvic, b-52, voodoo juice, pirahna and tarantula, carboload, bud blood, big bud, overdrive, barricade, and final faze. did i leave anything out?? but i used the botanicare line for years along with the lucas formula with GH and botanicare. and according to labels. AN buds, PROPERLY GROWN, (read them plants and dont be scared to go easy on one or more products, or more , whatever just use the calc as a referance point, but if you have your conditions optimized the calc is basically customed out allready for you) back to point, the AN harvests were a little bigger, but way fucking better in resin content and put it out early in flower. but for a newb the plus program can do more harm than good. and for the newb the lucas formula or just basic PBP and calmag plus will yield better results.
3) when a company like AN says that it's a "Stand Alone Nutrient" they mean not that it doesn't require any additives, but that "There is nothing else like it out there" and i know some of you will say what about dutch master gold aint it like conny?? no it doesnt contain the alcohol that makes connosieur soo, special and such. i havent used it yet but honestly, i was told that with conny that you use a lot less base nute than any of their other base nutes for flower. look on thier website and go to the calc. and the additives and amounts to add with connisieur are the same for every single one of the non-organic bloom recipes. and for the 2+ pounds perlight you gotta have at least the bud blood and big bud and overdrive and bennificials. belive that.
stand alone is a misnomer, as i talk to the tech dept. at AN on a bi-weekly basis and they told me that conny is meant to be used with the whole lineup of additives that every other one of their base nutes get when using the plus program.
and co2 enrichment is key to getting the plants to get that hungary. variations in concentrations of co2, that vary over 100 ppm either way (over or under shooting) is the death of co2 enrichment, and you are better off just ging light on nutes and keeping ventilation on 24/7. until you get yourself a fuzzy logic co2 controller,
green air products is NOT out of bussiness, like so many of us believe here on these forums. i talked to them 3 days ago and they helped me set up my new CDMC-7 co2 sequencer and remote sensor. i got this unit for $600 which was killer as it retails for $1,395.00. some one ordered a "solatel controller" and the clerk got confused somehow and ordered the CDMC-7. the guy didnt want it as it is just for co2 and not for shuttin down fans and all that mess, so he insisted that they get him his solatel that he wanted, which they did and they had this unit just sitting there for a year, and they hooked me up with a killer price cuz i always hook them up, and they just wanted what they almost paid for it so it wasnt a complere loss on thier end. they actually lost 65 buck by selling it for $600.00 but im a loyal 15+ year customer of my local hydro store. they been in business for at least 20+ years and survived the "green merchant" shit and went stickly to mail order when that happend, till the smoke cleared.
sorry for the looooong post, but i took time to answer some questions that i know i could properly field., and im high on some AN grown wappa (by paradise) and i type alot |
