Dukey: Thanks they def. look like something i'd be interested in. However i just bought a dozen rw cubes a week ago, so i'm going to use these up so i don't waste my money, then i'll def. invest in them. i've already killed two seedlings with the rw cubes, but i'm pretty sure heat and over watering were the culprits, which i now think i have under control. I'm about a day or two from finding out.

eatthc: That's pretty much what i've done as well. I germed in a glass of water for a day and 1/2. The one seed was open and a small taproot was sticking out, so i poked a hole in the rw top, and put the seed in root down and used a paper clip to gently push it down further. It is now right back at the top of the hole (3 days later) and i can't wait for it to pop it's head out for some light (fingers crossed).
