kinda reminds of, i think it was called panama gold or something like that, just before harvest, you strip the stem abit under the top cola, this causes it to dry out on the plant, aquiring a golden colour and a very smooth smoke i assume (just read about this)

but my point is, "the result is what is called Supercropping. The secondary buds underneath the tops, build up with a survival hormone because of the stress factor and become at least twice as large as normal, increasing the yield and potentcy"

doesnt this just retard the top, enlarging the secondary branches at the expense of the main cola? losing time as the lower branches get ready?
