I believe the conventional wisdom is stay away from fertilizer until at least the cotyledons (first rounded leaves) have yellowed and fallen off. That usually happens 2-3 weeks after the seedling has broken the ground. I'd be very careful before that... maybe search the archives, I know I've seen people burn/ stunt seedlings by fertilizing too early.
