im usssuming your doing an outdoor grow, but if you ever decide to grow indor, usinging uvb lights (the kind they sell for lizards in pet stors, increasis trichome producion, sometime drasticly on certian strains, the theory is that the trichomes grow more to protect the plant from the harmful uvb rays. alot of people on here do it and swear by it. Depending on where you live, you may get alot of uvb anyway, I know out west in the u.s gets a very high amount of UV, probably the highest in the country, and I would imagine anywhere along the equator gets hit pretty hard as well.
