Freak, I keep my clones in the veg room, and I run the lights 18/6.
With lights ON my temp is at 90F with RH at 55% and the 6 hrs that the lights are OFF the temp drops to 82F with RH at 70%.
My clone tub though retains humidity at 90%
So far it seems to me that temps lower than 78F slows down the clones from rooting by at least a week.
Also I have noticed that if a clone goes more than a week with out growing some kind of a root mass, the leaves yellow and die.
IMO, people who live at cold environments, instead of using a heating pad to warm the bottom of their cloning tub, they should try to raise the temp in the room with a space heater or something.

I hope you do try cloning your favorite plants, it's a great way of preserving a strain or running a perpetual grow for your self year round.
I don't know if this thread is worth going to the FAQ's, there are so may good informative thread in there already, but as long as it helps at least one grower, it serve it's purpose.
swordfish, I see you went to the club for clones again.
I wish these people though, they start putting their clones in black bags, not clear, and stop exposing the plants roots to the light.
Look at them in the second pick, they don't look too happy, poor things.
