Great post, L.C. !! It will be helpful to many members, I'm sure and help them to realise that it is a very simple operation and method.

Through trial and error, I found that warming my clone tray[s] from below to be very beneficial. The trays are on the top shelf of my cabinet, which has my main light bank underneath; the heat from those lights helps keep the shelf above warm and at just the right temps. Consequently, I have a very good success rate. I also began about a year ago to use seed starter medium to root clones, and noticed a quicker turn around time in root development. Used a perlite/potting soil mixture before, and still had about an 80% success rate; with the seed starter medium, I haven't lost one yet...
