seaman, open the dome and if they start wilting, they need a little more time, if they stand by their own for couple hours under the lights, they're ready to start their vegging time.
Happy that you try that method and you re-cut them, many would have throw these clones away.
Now you know, if they don't have roots in a week, cut them again, powder, and back in the dome.
Did you use tap water?
