seaman, if the dome its at least a cubic foot of space it will be no problem to have a little hole.
They do much better though in very high RH, so if you remember to open the dome once a day manually, plug that hole.
No need for fresh air to be getting in and dropping humidity % lower.

Try not to wet too much the soil in the solo cups, some times they get stem rot.
Usually when you pull a clone out to be re-cut, look at the stem, if its on the dark purple side instead of green, its getting rotten.
Reason, the soil was like mud.
