At the hole where the plumbing penetrates the tote, the plumbing will turn 90 degrees down toward the floor.
At about three inches the plumbing will turn another 90 degrees and will return the length of the tote. This PVC pipe will be the manifold.
At the other end of the manifold the plumbing will turn another 90 degrees down toward the floor. This pipe will hold the manifold level.
At the bottom of this pipe the plumbing will turn another 90 degrees to connect to the pump.
At this point the PVC will need to be down sized to the same size as the connection on the pump it's self.
I use plastic hose to connect the plumbing to the pump. If you have a rigid connection at the pump it could cause the plastic connection at the pump to break. The plastic hose gives the pump some wiggle room, and allows the pump to be moved slightly when maintenance is needed.
