Some people like to do the dark thing, but ive herd nothing that is proven over and over again, every strain is different, its best to know your strains background (environmental standards of living)

My guess would be to put as much effective UVB in the room as possible, the reaction the trichromes are producing, is because of the light, not as a repair mechanism, my advice would be to concentrate more on increasing the UVB intake, before shooting blanks in the dark here is a good video to maybe better explain than me : UVB and me CLICK HERE
