a felon on parole? it would be a violation of parole. he/she cant have it, at all. cant own, cant register, that right is lost. cant be in a car with someone with a gun, if found, it would be in violation. if he/she didnt know the gun was near, they would simply have to explain that to the judge. felon cant have a gun. judge might even send the felon back to prison for hanging out with people with guns.
