Tinkering

The example clones are a Big Bud strain that take 11 weeks to flower. That means three weeks left for tinkering.

That's right nigel, the method is so flexible it encourages tinkering. I am glad to hear that your plants are getting along well. I am also glad that you are able to make your training task a bit easier with Sticks.

I am afraid that I have made a simple concept seem difficult and time consuming. Instead of just saying Replace your fixed screen with sticks. I complicated the matter with three types of sticks: Training Sticks, Support Sticks, and Separator Sticks. Each stick type with a 'different' purpose. Some running in one direction. Others running in another direction. Some sticks are even running at angles.

I could have said that You can leave the sticks in place just like a screen. Instead I put the sticks in and take them out again. I add extra levels, up to four levels so far!

I could have said Stretch a chain across your grow cabinet as a way to hold the sticks. Instead I added Prepositioned Chains across the back. I Stretched the Chains with Tension Springs and have even created a Spring Tensioning Tool.

There. I did it again.

Bottom line, some cabinet growers may find it useful to have a flexible screen-like method to control their plants. All the rest may just be tinkering.
