Yep.The heat shield I saw was put directly on the lights.They wrapped the outside of the reflector and it had no signature after that.You might not want to have 4 black spots that show up in a warm room
,but you could definitly see how it would cut out or down on heat signatures.It isnt that expensive especially if it gives you peace of mind.
