I tried out the AZOMITE i posted about earlier in this thread. I can't say it had any benifits that counterbalance its cost. I had 25 plants with azomite and 25 plants with 'crushed rock' from the garden center. I used 65% promix, 10% compost, 5% worm castings, 15% perlite, 5% peatmoss. The azomite raises the PH so i think that might have been a problem with it, as promix is already PH balanced with lime. The azomite group did much better than the other group, but the azomite group was plants that started out much healthier than the other group. Results inconclusive. My opinion: i wouldnt use it again, its too expensive. The crushed rock from the garden center was extremely cheap in comparison, and seemed to offer the same promise of missing minerals and elements.
