Im gonna say that humidity in itself does not determine sex, no. But for what its worth one of the breeders (i forget which one but i think it mighta been "greenhouse") has stated that they belive a combination of factors including humidity does.
Thier belief is that higher humidty, lower temperatures, higher N content of the seedbed, and shorter vegatative hours, provide optimum conditions for females.
Not to say that those conditions will make male plants turn female, but they claim that they will keep any ptoential females from turning male or hermie on you.
