In response to mattH; I don't think you can clone a rose bush and expect the same plant to grow from the cutting. The reason being that most commercial rose bushes are grafts of one genotype underground (the roots of the plant) and another above ground. The bottom part is a plant that is bred for disease resistance and growth, and the top part is the actual variety "snow fire" or whatever.
Of course, I could be talking out me arse, too.
