Oh yeah, there's more blooming this morning | | From top to bottom we have:
A terrestrial orchid called "Lady Tresses". There are hundreds that pop up randomly in our field every year about this time. They're a few weeks early this year.
Spider wort growing near the burn pile.
A sunflower bud forming.
Honeysuckle growing along the edge of the woods.
A whole bunch of patty pan squash flowers.
A dahlia bud. This is the first time we have grown dahlias.
Pecan babies. Looks like we are in for a decent crop this year. They'll be dropping sometime in late Oct-early Nov.
Baby muscadine grapes. They usually ripen around Labor Day.
Granny Smith apple blossoms.
That's all for this installment. Enjoy your Sunday.
