Crazy Topped Plant

Well, I topped my first time last night, and noticed that one of the nodes ( 6th ) has 3 fan leaves and 3 "bud branches ( name? )" right above the fan leaves.. I topped just above the 3 new growth "branches" leaving the stem lower than the 3 new growth branches, so does this mean I will basically have 3 "tops" now? I also noticed that on the 3rd node there are 4 "branches".. 2 fan leaves but 4 branches .. 2 on on top of each of the 2 fan leaves.. Has anyone ever seen a 4 branch node ( 2 above each fan leaf ) ? Is these normal/good/bad?

thanks
