I've never cloned before but from what ive read it goes something like this. If you clone a female plant you get a female, so unless your taking cuttings off plants that you dont know the sex, the 12/12 wont be needed immediatly and you can let the clones root and be healthy. I've heard of not giving clones nutes until they root (aside from cloning product) but again, never done it myself. And yes I'm guessing you can clone outside but a humidity dome always seems to be essential, wether you use it outside or in. |
