As much as I don't like strains that go over 8 weeks anymore, I'll give them a little space in the corner and let them go as long as they need to.

I don't blame you for that one. i actually chucked out an arjan haze cause of the very same reason ut kept my big buddha cheese for after 13 weeks and even this at 8 weeks i would have to say was better.

Let me clarify this a bit better.
This strain can be harvested anywhere from 8 to 12 weeks or over and it seems to only get stronger. I am not sure if I will say better because here is the thing;
I did staggered harvesting and the very first one I harvested smoked great even with microwave drying.
Yes I know it is the worst way to try but I was so anxious cause it smelled so so good.
Then when I waited properly for it to dry it was exquiste.
The next one I waited a week longer and then another week for the next one.
At first i thought I was wrong in the harvesting time and was kicking myself for not harvesting them all at the same time BUT then i waited for it too cure some and it was just a strong version of the smooth rich chocolate and mellow flavour of the chocolope
At first when I toke a hit it had a real strong bite to it and was completely different.
I was thinking .............
ummmm...ok never mind what i was thinking
But when i waited and let her chill and smooth out a bit; she was not only as good only more potent.
Even knowing this I think i will still stagger harvest the next lot of strains which is coming up in another 4 or 5 weeks. I really like the differences in buzz appeal as well as the flavour.
I'd say if you flower this lady for 9 weeks you would be delighted all the same.

I will try and shut up about this strain now and concertate on another but it isn't easy
This stuff has me totally thrilled.

Actually gosh....thanks to everyone. i did not realize all the posts. i will get back to some of you later as i have to finish mowing the lawn.
