Ok yeah maybe I shouldn't post on here after having a few beers. I'm not even entirely sure what I was refferring to reguarding the meter. I have definitly seen a ph meter that you stab into the top your soil, and I thought it had a humidity/temp meter too but it could be wishful thinking.
And the humidity reader reads the humidity of the air above the soil, not the humidity of the water itself

I think I'm going to pick up a few more clones today after I buy a couple more of those two foot fluorescents. I'll get all clones in soil and put them under 3 75w cfls to get comfortable before putting my best clones under the 250w hps with one or two cfl's as side lighting.
I've been doing some reading, and due to limited space and time I think i'm going to have the best luck going with a little sog of six to eight plants under 400ish watts of hps/cfl.
