Thats what I was try'n to convey in my first message on this topic. Most plants do not like to be out of soil. Mostly only air plants can exist/live without soil. Most plants need to get roots into soil ASAP.

hey M Jacobs...where can one get the Litmus Test Paper cheap? At a "regular" garden supply store? I bet hydro stores are expensive if they have it.


I dont like digital ph meters (mine suck even though they are expensive and high tech). I dont want to keep paying for capsule tests for ph & you are correct when testing water with nutrients the test can be thrown off with liquid tests.
