Its cool man, get them separated soon before the roots become real entangled. Minimize the shock as much as possible. Remove as much of the loose dirt to see how bad they are tangled. If you're lucky they've gone their own ways and not tangled much. If not they'll be pretty well wrapped, you may want to dip the root ball in water to help them let go of each other with little to no damage.
