the res is not necessarily in teh room with the table...so lids arent mandatory or anything.
just keep MOST of the light out and youll be fine. i grow algae in my cloner like nobodies business, but it never hurt anything.
chances are the flood table will grow plenty of funk on its own anyways, so i wouldnt sweat a tiny amount of crap growin in there....just make sure you are cultivating friendly algae and bacterias, not the bad ones! |
