only a 30 gallon res supplying 8 buckets? that could be a lot of the problem right there. can you sister another res up to the 30 gallon tank or upgrade to a 50 gallon res? Increasing the res size will help stabilize the temperature.
Aeroponics and root rot just dont go together, like military and intelligence.. For root rot to have a chance in a highly oxygenated solution, the temperature of the solution has to make it so the water is not retaining much O2.
Now Im curious as to how you are measuring your Res temperature?
