I like Rootech gel just fine, but it is the only thing I know. It is what came with my Techniflora starter kit, and I bought a larger jar of it after I ran out. I used it in a cup with coco in it, and also in jiffy pellets and had great success with a few different strains. I never had a great set up (no dome or heating matt or obviously bubble cloner), but within 10 days I pretty much always had roots.

Also, from reading on GC I have found there are 100s of methods and variations on cloning techniques. I say just find what works best for you, and clone your ass off.
