The firearms are a last resort- and the burglar will know I have them after a warning shot. Fired into his/her ass.

My grow(s) - if I have them, which I don't, cause Unca Sammy says it's bad- my grows are (would be) in locked closets/ cabinets. It is amazing what can be done with a 7' x 3' x 8' closet.

Of course, I guess they will be found after I'm hauled off to prison, as I cannot legally own guns.
