Pistils turning orange too soon?

I have 2 auto blueberrys that are about 48 days old.. The pistils are turning orange ( 50% ) but the buds havent swollen up hardly at all and are hardly any trichomes.. Is this normal? Every pic I see, the pistils dont turn colors untill the buds have swollen.Theres hardly any whiteness to the buds at all.. Its mostly all green and the mostly orange pistils..My buds look nothing like any ive seen in pics..Mine look thin, dark and dry.. My buds are about as big around as a cig lighter..Its weird. And they barely smell also. My pistils never got "fat" and "juicy" like I see in pics.. they stayed really thin and hairlike.. The "buds" have filled in solid ( meh ) but they are just so "un dank" looking. Also is it normal for the "buds" to only have 1 "layer" of "calax's" ( right word? ) ?
