PH and Epsom salts

well It's time to water again and so my soil's PH shot up to 8.

I know you can use epsom salts to provide magnesium but what about the 7SO4(sulfuric acid)? does that provide sulfur to the plant or significantly lower PH when used at safe levels?

I need a fast acting way to lower my PH safely. a flush maybe?

I could use some help here and won't water till I hear back from you guys.
