I was using a big sheet of Poly and taping it to the edges of the tray, then cutting holes in it and installing the plants, then using foil tape to tape the slits back up... That seemed to work well.
thats what i had in mind

i was thinking about putting pots in place w/ pellets b4 poly - then cover pots with poly - then cut small slits to insert clones in 3" x 3" starter cubes of RW- this way slit in poly would only be 3 or 4" across - just set cubes on top of pellets
