Yep, Balls = boy and hairs = girl. They are generally pretty obvious. If you see a calyx with 2 hair looking pistils coming out of it, it is a girl. A cluster of little ball-looking pods is a dude. They will both form in the same place, at the node (where the branches meet the main stem). Sorry for being so basic, but I figured newbies could benefit from a closer explanation. I know you know what these terms are.
