Im not exactly sure what the name is of the system, I think its just aeroponic. I have 12 buckets which are placed in 12 holes that are in a piece of wood that suspends them above a 50 gal reservoir that has sprinklers in the bottom, which spray the roots throughout the day. The hydroton rocks are what go in those buckets. I bought this huge system and everything that came with it super cheap off a friend of mine, so Im still learning about all the equipment.
But as of right now I have my rockwool cubes on top of the rocks and the rocks are filled to the top of my upside down humidity dome. I will be hand watering them but I get the feeling this wont be enough, should I just go with perlite instead? |
