it probably wouldn't kill your plant but that ph is problematicly high.

another completely off topic post there, cancer....

as long as your don't use ph for pools, you'll be fine. as a matter of fact, you'd effect the taste if you didn't ph it down, it would cause potassium issues, which plays a big roll in developing the flavour of your buds.

vinegar or lime juice works as well, but doesn't keep it as stable. better to just spend the ten buck and pick up some good ph down. I've been that route. phosforic or nitric acid is where it's at.
