Looking at the pics I posted, is anyone able to give me an idea of what went wrong with my LR2s? Is it possible that I just got a runt - just the luck of the draw? I've germinated my last 2 seeds, hoping for better luck, and if there's something I did wrong the first time around I'd like to know about it.
I germinated using paper towels. Then transplanted into jiffy pellets. After a few true leaves had grown, I transplanted them into pots. At that point I could see no roots pushing out of the jiffy pellets, and the plants that have died had virtually no roots, even though I watered them when necessary (and not too frequently) with rain water and gave them some root stimulants - a very weak solution.
My remaining plant has started to grow faster, but I have no idea what to expect now since it's technically been growing for over a month and is due to start flowering any day now. And, of course, it's a 50-50 chance that the one plant I have is a male. No sign yet of any flowering. I have started some LST and am still hoping for the best. |
