From my personal experiences... autoflowerers can be quite finicky. Because they have such short lifespans they dont really have a chance to recover from any screw ups. You've gotta get everything right from the get go or theyll get stunted easily.. Since they only veg for a matter of a few weeks before they flower theyve gotta have optimal conditions to grow as much as possible before they flower.. stress them too much in that short veg time and theyll stunt at the drop of a hat. Soooo with autos.. Id suggest NOT training them in anyway, NOT transplanting them ever (plant in final container from begining which is OK with autos cause they dont need big containers), and NOT moving them inside/outside and whatnot.. Just my autos are not a great plant to start with for newbies, either.
