That's what's interesting about these forums and others - I've seen the exact opposite advice, "LST is a MUST for LR2 if you want a decent yield!"
My plant has now shown some sex - it's a girl - but is still very very small (like 4"), so I'm not expecting much at all. Meanwhile, my other seeds have sprouted and one already has a root coming through the bottom. In a few days I'll decide what to do with it.
I tested my rainwater with one of the liquid pH test kits and it came back about 6, so I think that's okay. I can't help but conclude that I just got a runt. Perhaps my new sprouts will perform more like I expected.
