Container or in-ground grow? In-ground you are less likely to over-water as there is more drainage. Container...If the plant is over-growing the container it is in, the roots could beginning to get tangled up at the edges. This means you need to do a transplant soon! I had to do that yesterday, and it is scary at first...but if your plant is strong, roots will regen! I suggest rolling the container against a landscape timber while placing light pressure on the center of the container. This should effectively loosen the edges of your plant and allow the root ball to walk itself out. You may need to cut the container off but just try to limit damage to all but the very tips of the root ball! best wishes with it!
