Foxfarms rock, but cost your the extra. General hydroponics line of ferts are just as good in my opinion, and lot cheaper (can be used in dirt no prob) As for Soils, Foxfarm ocean forrest is awesome but here its 13bucks for 1.5CuFt, too spendy for me. Gardener and bloome makes a good line of potting soil, 8bucks for 2 CuFt. good thing to know also a cubic foot of soil equals about 7.5 gallons of soil.
Look through some grow journals and follow a few of them finish to end, and you will have lots of information. I didn't know a damn thing when i first started, but give it a year to know the concepts and ins and outs, after that its a cake walk.
