| Hey everyone,
I'm ready to chop down my two outdoor/indoor chocolopes today. They started off as clones indoors and went outdoors for the later part of the summer and now seem to be ready to harvest.
Hey Bobby , I just noticed you and you are from Canada. Yes i wouldn't have said this in my first grow as i seemed to have perfect growing conditions for this strain at the time but this last grow of chocolope I can definitely see she has a mildew problem. Considering this I would then suggest taking off as many of those dying leaves as possible or you will be suspectible to this Powdery Mildew. Very good point so i am glad that the solution was added to this thread so thanks guys. Due to the lack of a dehumidifier, my girls are certainly in this stage of consideration as you can see from the pictures. The leaves have no only gone yellow but have started to become moldish like and it my opinion, ready to chop.
I personally like her cut a bit earlier because her taste is so potent that sometimes leaving it too long seems to distort this awesome taste she has. Just checking her out today my fingers not only get sticky , they get covered in oil, literally. She is a real stinker but the smell is so pleasant.
Thanks for chiming in Torch That Bird. I have to agree with you completely in that i may have smoked something more potent but I don't think i have ever smoked something so special I'd consider it desert. Like Torch says, it is that special bud you want to pull out to impress your friends. THIS strain really is worth bragging about and I do not regret suggesting this strain to anyone. Yes she is expensive to purchase and does have some weaknesses but her strengths far outweigh any weaknesses in this girl.
Here are a few new pics taken this morning of the chocolopes i am about to pick. The trichs are ready how i like them to be and my taste buds are ready
Hey Ironman. I didn't notice you either or aep for that matter
Sorry. YES you are in for a VERY tasty treat indeed.
