lumen levels are a function of both wattage and, to some extent, Kelvin colour temperature... lumens also vary according to brand
when choosing bulbs i first check Kelvin-- depending whether i want 6500K for vegetative growth or mostly 2700K for flower (with some 6500K)
then i check lumen output, which should be labeled near the colour temp rating and watts...
but if lumen counts are not on the label, i don't consider it a viable brand of bulb and won't buy it...cuz i need that information to do my lux per square foot calculations
i generally ignore wattage.. except i never bother with any bulb less than 23W and prefer 26W cuz the latter are consistently more efficient with more lumens per watt--
basically more is better but otherwise watts are irrelevant and confuzzling cuz the real issue is lumen intensity
