i do believe you may have been stoned at the store.oh well,it happens.
you are right on the path of what the person was telling you.
you do have to soak the cubes for atleast 24hrs because of the alkiline level.you can soak the cubes in a weak solution of whatever cloning fert. you use.I use the same as you listed above.
