Welp, Im using organic fert. (fish emulsion and chicken sh*t)... the plants are about 10 inches from the lights (Im using 3 100w hps)... so I dont think they are too close..
The thing that concerns me is the Scaling (scales) on the leaves. It looks like an insect attack, as the scaling usually starts out as a tiny brown dot, and gets larger untill it engulfs most of the leaf. Turning more and more scaly as it goes. I know for a fact that its not over fertilization becasue they havent been fert. in about a month, and never with chemicals (they taste bad in the finished bud, especially Miracle Grow... but thats another message.)
It could be some sort of insect... but I've never noticed anything other than black ants (they usually dont bother the plants tho... actually, they clean the grow room quite nicely by picking up fallen leaves and such)... But they havent been around as much this time, as in the past. Also, this affliction seems to be affecting only 2 plants out of 14 or so. I dont want it to spread.
