Next we drilled holes in the end of the caps so that the sprayer-tube could go through. Had to measure the distance from teh outside edge of the tube so that we didn't cut through the side-wall of the cap. We managed to destroy a few caps previously not being careful about this. It will leak if you don't leave the wall intact.
Don't put both caps on until you are ready to put in the sprayer tubes, otherwise you will have to stick your hands through the hole and get the sprayers in that way. It is far more difficult - trust me. Put on only the end where the drains will go - you need that on all the way so the drains are even. More on that later.
You'll need to use PVC cement on these connections once it's all together. |
