The sprayers that I got had two pieces. One was a round piece that screwed on to the unit they were built for. I threw this away. The other was the actual sprayer piece. This was threaded and supposed to screw into the round piece that I had thrown away.
I ended up with one piece sprayers that were threaded. Putting them into the PVC at this point is actually very easy. You need to get a set of drill bits and compare the size of the bit to the size of the tube where the threads are on the sprayer. This means taking a drill bit and putting it in front of the threads (lining the bit up with the tube). If you can see the threads around the edge of the bit and can barely see the edge of the tube the threads are connected to you probably have the right size.
Drill a hole in a scrap piece of PVC to test this. Try putting in the sprayer. If it doesn't fit, enlarge the hole (one bit bigger). You should be able to screw the sprayer in as long as you drilled straight. |
