Knore - you were definitely right about the limitations on plant size. It will support the plant, but it won't be the best environment....
Taking it out after harvesting and looking at the bottom of the plant and root structure it's obvious that it didn't have enough room - the plant even appears to have been getting strangled. The rootball is also constrained by the drains.
I think this design is great for smaller plants, like you say, but not for such large plants as I've had in it.
We're going to the new design next, which will support large plants. |
